What you need

tsp granulated garlic

cup diced tomatoes with green chilies

cup white onion

tsp black peppercorn

salt & pepper
tsp dried oregano

tsp dried thyme

tsp chili powder

tsp onion powder

cayenne pepper

cup basmati rice

cup vegetable broth

cup chicken strips

fresh parsley
Instructions
1 In a medium-sized non-stick pot, sauté minced garlic, diced onion and diced celery over medium heat with neutral oil of choice. Sauté until onions are semi translucent and garlic is fragrant. Season with salt and pepper to taste. 2 Add in all dry seasonings, rice and vegetable broth. Cover with a lid and bring to a boil. 3 Once the pot has reached a boil, immediately adjust the heat to low so that it can simmer. 4 After you've noticed that most of the liquid is gone, stir in the frozen Alpha Chik'n Strips and continue to let simmer until rice is fully cooked and fluffy. If by chance the rice has not finished cooking, add in a few more splashes of vegetable broth as needed and continue to simmer until cooked. 5 Once the rice is finished cooking and the Alpha Chik'n Strips have warmed through, remove the pot from the heat. Taste and add additional salt as needed. Plate and garnish with fresh chopped parsley. Enjoy!View original recipe
