What you need

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp baking powder

½ cup sugar

1 pinch nutmeg

½ tsp salt

3 tbsp vegan margarine

1 ½ tsp vanilla extract

1 ½ cup unsweetened almond milk

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
⅓ cup unsweetened applesauce
Instructions
1 Preheat waffle maker and spray with coconut oil or spread with additional vegan butter 2 In a large bowl, mix together all of the dry ingredients 3 In a small/medium bowl mix together the wet ingredients, then transfer to the bowl with the dry ingredients and mix until just combined 4 Using a measuring cup or ladle, transfer the mixture to your preheated waffle iron.
