What you need

tbsp vegan margarine
cup vegan cream cheese

tsp salt
Instructions
0 Add sugar to a sauce pan and let sit until it starts to melt consistently around the edges. 1 Using a silicone spatula, pull the sugar from around the edges of the pot, inward. Sugar will be lumpy and turn a light brown color. 2 Continue stirring constantly with the spatula until all lumps have melted. 3 Once the lumps have melted, remove from the heat and grab a whisk. 4 Whisk in the melted vegan butter (may bubble violently- it's okay) until combined, then whisk in the heavy whipping cream and salt until combined. If mixture becomes lumpy, return to low heat and continue to whisk until smooth. Mixture will be thin. 5 Transfer the mixture to a storage container and allow to cool (mixture will thicken as it cools). 6 Use as desired. Enjoy!View original recipe
